Hole Edit
Tool summary :
- Lets you edit one or multiple holes that you select. Selection filtering is built in.
- While Hole Edit can be used to edit one hole at a time, the tool is more commonly used for multi-editing. The preferred way to edit a single hole is to double-click it while ' Default ' is selected as the selection filter.
- If you preselect multiple types of objects, Hole Edit will edit only those objects that are holes. The other objects will remain selected. Click here for an example. Preselection is done in Select Items mode. Here are the steps:

- Draw an area box or hold down the Shift key and left-click ( Select+ ) several objects of the same type or of different types.
- Invoke Hole Edit .
- The Hole Edit window opens.
- In-tool selection takes place when you invoke Hole Edit with nothing selected or with object types other than holes selected. The tool brings up Select Item(s) mouse bindings, and the status line prompts you select holes. Here are the steps:

- Select one or more objects. Built-in selection filtering restricts you to selecting holes. Press the Enter key when you are done selecting the objects.
- The Hole Edit window opens.
- To invoke Hole Edit :
Method 1 : Click the Hole Edit icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Objects -- Holes ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Objects > Holes > Edit .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Hole Edit can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
